We are in the process of making our website better.  This picture will eventually be attached to our home page. We love how Jenn Bartell captured the feeling of our flowers in this photo.  For now I wanted to share with everyone the inside of our floral studio.  Garden of Weedon has now been located on K street for 2 months.  The space is beginning to feel like home.  We are enjoying having a larger space to design and the interaction of the midtown shoppers and the midtown business people in general.

If you have not been into our Sacramento floral studio we offer the following:
Everyday Retail Bouquets and Designs, Wedding and Event Design, and Design Classes

Special Days at Garden of Weedon Designs:
Tuesday:  Tuesday Ties ( inexpensive hand wrap bouquets)
Friday:     Five O'Clock Fridays ( 1/2 off flower stems from 5-6pm)

We are also carrying organically grown flowers from a local grower.

Flower Terrarium

ONE OF OUR WEEKLY ACCOUNTS

I just wanted to highlight one of our weekly accounts.  I liked the way this came out to look like a flower terrarium  This is just one idea when you are designing with such a large vase to incorporate the middle of the vase into the design.

July Second Saturday

Marques Cameron was our first "out of house" artist for second Saturday in our business.  This young man is talented, creative, passionate, and truly a gentleman.  We could not have asked for a better first artist to show their work in our space.  We had so much fun and were very excited as his "Coltrane" painting was swept away in seconds by a second Saturday art shopper.  Thank You Marques Cameron for displaying your work in our studio this month.  Here are some pictures to see what Second Saturday is all about in our studio space!

Josefina and Victor June 5th 2010

Congratulations Josefina and Victor.  This couple was married in the beautiful St. Mathews Church in San Mateo, CA. Josefina's bouquet consisted of Hydrangea, Burgundy Peonies, Ivory Roses, and Mango Calla Lilies.

The church was on a grand scale.  The Altar pieces were so tall we finished them on site.  Check out the cieling above the altar in the photo below.

The girls had beautiful persimmon dresses and bouquets were designed out of white cushion mums, mango callas, and burgundy peonies.

How could I resist a picture of the Flower Girl.
